Saturday, June 14, 2008

Two Bronson teenagers are facing multiple counts of criminal damage to property to numerous car windows and other property during a major crime spree earlier this year.

Chris E. Lindsey, 18, and Dominick C. Robinson, 19, of Bronson, each face 10 counts of misdemeanor criminal damage to property. Another co-defendant, Eric James, of Iola, also faces the exact same charges.

Twenty-seven victims are listed in the charges. The teens allegedly damaged glass doors and house windows, multiple car windows and a mailbox and post, according to court records. The crimes happened in late February.

The three face one count of felony criminal damage when the supposedly shot up numerous vehicle windows at Twin Motors Ford, a car dealership in Iola. That charge is a felony because damages exceeded $25,000. The complaint information didn't give specific amounts of damages. Iola Police have said the teens used a high-powered BB gun or pellet gun powered by CO2 cartridges.

They have status conferences scheduled in August. The teens are also facing numerous charges of kidnapping, burglary, robbery and criminal damage to property in connection to a series of home invasions in Crawford, Bourbon, Allen and Anderson counties that happened around the same time as the vehicle damages.

They are being held at the Allen County Jail on $100,000 bond.
