Kyle D. Caldwell -Marsha R. Ficken

Marsha R. Ficken, of Green Ridge, Mo., and Kyle D. Caldwell, of Lockwood, Mo., announce their engagement and approaching marriage. The couple plan to be married Aug. 9, 2008, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Lockwood.

The bride-elect is the daughter of John M. and Karen Ficken, of Green Ridge. Prospective-groom Caldwell is the son of Rocky and Jackie Caldwell, of Jerico Springs, Mo.

Marsha, a 1997 graduate of Green Ridge High School, received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2001 from Concordia University, Seward, Neb. She is employed by Immanuel Lutheran School, Lockwood.

Kyle, a 1994 graduate of Walker High School, received an Associate of Applied Science in Agriculture from Fort Scott Community College in 1996 and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield. He is employed as a cattle manager by Wayshire Farms, Lockwood.
