Homecoming festivities slated for today

The 2008 Nevada High School Homecoming festivities come to a peak today with the annual Homecoming Parade starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Nevada Middle School and winding its way behind the High School before ending at the Vernon County Courthouse for a pep rally. At 6:30, one of four seniors, Sabrina Jones, Andrea Villasuso, Taylor Means or Whitley Del Rosario will be crowned 2008 NHS Homecoming Queen before Friday's game with the Parsons Vikings. --Ralph Pokorny/ Daily Mail
