Benjamin endorsed by Fraternal Order of Police

State Senate candidate Chris Benjamin (D-District 31) announced recently that he has received the endorsement of the Missouri Fraternal Order of Police, the largest professional police organization in the country. The FOP, which was started by two police officers in Pittsburgh in 1915, now has more than 2,000 local lodges and more than 299,000 members nationwide. The Missouri Chapter of the FOP was founded in 1973 and has more than 25 lodges across the state with more than 5,000 members.
