Police are on the lookout for armed robbery suspect

Little new information has surfaced in a robbery case first reported in the Nevada Daliy Mail on Thursday. According to a press release from the Nevada Police Department, Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 10:55 p.m., the department was contacted by an employee of the Subway Sandwich Shop, 2021 E. Austin, Nevada. The employee reported the sandwich shop had just been robbed. Officers from the Nevada Police Department, Vernon County Sheriff's Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene. The employee reported that a male, described as 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches tall, approximately 200 pounds, dressed in blue jeans, a black leather jacket, and a Halloween mask, came to the drive up window of the shop. The suspect aimed a small handgun at the employee and demanded the store's money. The employee complied with the suspect's request.

After obtaining an undetermined amount of cash the suspect left on food heading east from the store. The matter is still under investigation by the Nevada Police Department. The matter is still under investigation by the Nevada Police Department.
