Coleen Denise Shadden

Coleen Denise Shadden, age 5, Nevada, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, along with her sister Amanda as the result of a house fire. She was born on Oct. 31, 2003, in Nevada, to Ronnie Lee Shadden and Cheryl Denise Edmunds.

Coleen was a second year peer model at Cedar Ridge School, Nevada. She participated in soccer and was an avid swimmer. Coleen was a second year student in Jennifer and Lauri's Pre-School.

Survivors include her parents, Cheryl and Darren Dennison, of the home; Ronnie and Elizabeth Shadden, Arma, Kan.; one sister, Kadessa Shadden, of the home; one brother, Braxton Shadden, of the home; step-brothers and step-sisters, Lauren Dennison, Trevor Dennison, Ronnie Shadden, and Quentin Shadden; grandparents, Ronald and Thelma Estes, Nevada, and Jim and Vickie Dennison, Nevada; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, including her best friend and cousin, Ashlynd Taylor and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Harry and Coleen Shadden.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 15, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Bill Platt officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 14.
