Kelly Lee Masters, 20, Nevada, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2008, due to an automobile accident in Holt, Mo. The love of his life, Chelsea To, was also killed in the accident with him. They both were very devoted to their church, St. Paul Lutheran, of Nevada. Kelly was born on July 20, 1988, in Nevada, to Dennis and Vesta Jadlot Masters.

Kelly graduated from Nevada High School in 2007. He and Chelsea were both accepted to Pittburg State University, Pittsburg, Kan. Automobiles and drafting was his passion.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Vesta Masters and Kelby Cole; father, Dennis Masters; one brother, Derek Masters; one sister, Shelby Masters; one stepsister, Courtney Crall; two stepbrothers, Clayton and Chase Crall; grandparents, Bob and Ann Jadlot, Nevada; Carol Masters Shotts and Roy Shotts, Nevada; GG and Mike Cole, El Dorado Springs; several aunts and uncles, Anna and Larry Duncan, Nevada; Vicki and Joe Jadlot, Sheldon, Mo.; Robert Jadlot, Walker, Mo.; Earl Jadlot, Honduras; Charles Jadlot, Nevada' David Masters, Nevada; Teri and Don Ellison, Kansas City; Shawn Michelle Cole, Springfield, Mo.; Dustin and Shawna Cole, of the state Virginia; and LeAndra Masters; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Masters.

Joint funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 29, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Mark Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and a joint visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., on Sunday, at the funeral home.
