There were reports of a hay fire in the Hume area, a bull out in the Nevada area, a road hazard in the Walker area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, a trash dumping in the Nevada area, a traffic hazard in the Nevada area, a repossession in the Nevada area, a cow out in the Deerfield area, a structure fire in the Sheldon area, a careless and imprudent driver in the El Dorado Springs area, a 911 hang up in the Nevada area, a juvenile in the Bronaugh area, a road hazard in the Compton Junction area, an ex parte violation in the El Dorado Springs area, an abandoned vehicle in the Deerfield area, an abandoned vehicle in the Deerfield area, and a medical call in the Walker area.

David E. Terrell, 22, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear for four counts of tampering with a motor vehicle, and theft. He is being held in lieu of a $412 bond.

Thomas A. Claypool, 48, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of passing bad checks. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
