Bronaugh splits NEVC

Bronaugh senior Ashley Cox shoots a technical free throw in Thursday night's girls' game against NEVC. The Lady Wildcats went on to win the game by a final score of 57-34. Cox finished out the night with eight points, but Katlyn Douglas led the offensive effort for the Lady Wildcats with 18. Douglas also pulled off the double-double, ending the night with a team-high 22 rebounds. Cox wasn't far off that total as she finished the night with 16. In the boys' game, Bronaugh didn't fare quite as well, falling to the Knights by a final score of 63-42. --Lisa Hinkle/Daily Mail
