March 17

There was a report of an animal bite in the 200 block of west Austin, made by Heather Bechtle, of Nevada. She reported being bitten by a dog. The dog is under observation.

March 21

An accident occurred at 5:50 p.m., at Osage and Ashland, involving a pickup driven by Johannes A. Botha, Nevada, and a car driven by Katherine L. Meyer, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

March 22

There was a report of a burglary in the 1500 block of west Austin, made by Coffee Rush, in Nevada. They reported cash stolen.

There was a report of a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 500 block of east Lee, made by Audra Fleeman, of Nevada. She reported change and a camera stolen.

March 23

There was a report of an animal bite in the 200 block of north Spring, made by Adam Churchwell, of Nevada. He reported being bitten by a dog. The dog is under observation.

March 24

There was a report of a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 500 block of east Cherry, made by Mary Bishop, of Moundville. She reported medication stolen.

An accident occurred at 6:31 a.m., at U.S. Highway 71 and Hickory, involving a car driven by Garry J. Dunn II, of Nevada, and a SUV driven by Jovita B. Johnson, of El Dorado Springs. No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at 5:17 p.m., at U.S. Highway 54, and Underpass, involving a van driven by Sharla R. Wilkerson, of Nevada, and a pickup driven by Steven K. Smith, of Valparaiso, Ind. No injuries were reported.

March 25

There was a report of a vehicle theft in the 200 block of north Olive, made by Roger Daniels, of Nevada. He reported a 1966 blue, two-door, Chevorlet Malibu, with Missouri license plates number 024-06H, and several tools, stolen.

An accident occurred at 6:32 a.m., at U.S. Highway 54 and 1700 Road, involving a car driven by Tisha A. Short, of Neosho, and a car driven by Daniel R. Williamson, of Sheldon. Short was listed with evident, but not disabling injuries.
