April 20

There were reports of horses out in the Nevada area, a check well being in the Metz area, a structure fire in the Schell City area, a wanted person in the Nevada area, threats in the Schell City area, an ambulance request in the Sheldon area, a burglary in the Milo area.

Evelyn R. Burdick, 26, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of failure to appear for passing bad checks. She is being held in lieu of a $900 cash only bond.

Michael J. George, 23, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of tampering with a motor vehicle, driving while revoked, and failure to register vehicle. He was released in lieu of a $3,200 bond.

Kimberly L. Newton, 46, of Sheldon, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear for two counts of passing bad checks. She was released in lieu of a $1,175 cash only bond.

Paul D. Heckadon, 35, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of violation of an ex parte. He was released in lieu of a $331.50 bond.

There were reports of a vehicle accident in the Montevallo area, an abandoned vehicle in the Nevada area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, a controlled burn in the Deerfield area, a burglary in the Richards area, an ambulance request in the Sheldon area, a civil matter in the Nevada area, an abandoned vehicle in the Walker area, an assault in the Sheldon area, a 911 wrong number in the Nevada area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, a civil matter in the Nevada area, an intoxicated driver in the Schell City area, a controlled burn in the Walker area, a missing person in the Nevada area, an assault in the Sheldon area, a jail incident in the Nevada area, and a check well being in the Nevada area.

Tammy S. Eador, 33, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of failure to appear for passing bad checks.

Casey L. Colin, 25, of Butler, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of assault. He was released in lieu of a $1,000 bond.

Jeremiah W. Sherwood, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of domestic assault, resisting arrest, and assault on a law enforcement officer. He was released in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
