Danielle and Tod Hessong
Danielle Krusich and Tod Hessong exchanged wedding vows on July 11, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in Pittsburg, Kan. The Revs. Tom Stroot and Larry Parker officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Sandy Krusich, Pittsburg, Kan., and granddaughter of Francis and Ann Krusich, Frontenac, Kan., and Joseph and Patricia Stiles, Wilson, Kan.
The groom is the son of Randy and Linda Hessong, Fort Scott, Kan., and grandson of Vere and Ruth Hessong, and Wayne and Dorothy Leek, all of Fort Scott, Kan.
For the ceremony, the bride wore a formal gown fashioned of candlelight Mikado silk. She carried a bouquet of white roses with her mother's rosary. The bridesmaids wore aqua street-length dresses and carried bouquets of white roses.
Bridal attendants were matron of honor Kari Messer, friend of the bride; bridesmaids Cassie Sommer, and Hollie Krusich, sisters of the bride, and Nicole Paden, niece of the groom; flower girls, Sydney Hessong, niece of the groom, and Gretchen Comeau, cousin of the bride. Guest book attendants were Mimi Turner, friend of the bride, and Regan Stiles, cousin of the bride.
Ryan Renfro, friend of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Josh Messer and Adam Lancaster, friends of the groom, Dan Moore, cousin of the groom, and Ethan Danzig, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Devon, Ian and Eammon Krusich, brothers of the bride, and Tyler Moore, cousin of the groom. Junior attendants were Jackson Danzig, John Paden, Grant and Trenton Hessong, nephews of the groom, and Will and Stuart Comeau, cousins of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Crestwood Country Club, Pittsburg, Kan.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
Danielle is a graduate of St. Mary's Colgan High School and Pittsburg State University, and teaches third grade at Nativity Parish School, Leawood, Kan. Tod is a graduate of Fort Scott High School and Pittsburg State University, and teaches math at Desoto High School, Desoto, Kan.
The couple reside in Overland Park, Kan.
