Announcement is made of the marriage of James Bradley Thompson to Alissa Anne Colwell on Sept. 6, 2008, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Jackson, Mo. Vows were solemnized by the Rev. John Harth.

Jana Walker, Fort Scott, served as matron of honor; Katrina Colwell as maid of honor. Attendants were Jennifer Maevers, Altenburg, Mo., Andrea Wilkinson, of Jackson, and Molly Burnett, Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Zack Huckstep, of Jackson, served as best man. Groomsmen were Adam Meier and Kyle Maevers, of Altenburg, Robert Holzum and Landon Bollinger, of Jackson. Ushers were Josh Wills and Brad Berry, of Jackson.

A reception followed at Jackson Knights of Columbus Hall. The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

The bride is the daughter of Sidney and Helen Colwell. She is employed by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.

The groom is the son of Bradley and Paula Thompson, of Jackson. He is employed by Standley Batch Systems.
