Shepherd signs with North Central

Nevada High School class of 2009 graduate Colby Shepherd has officially made his commitment to play college baseball.

Shepherd was a multi-sport athlete throughout his four years at Nevada High School and earned a first-team All-District baseball selection in his senior season with the Tigers, as well as earning second team honors as a defensive back and honorable mention at wide receiver as a member of the Tigers football team in his senior season.

Shepherd has chosen not to pursue a college career in football, however, and recently signed a letter of intent to play baseball for the Pirates of North Central Missouri College in the spring of 2009.
