New van in service for disabled residents

On Tuesday afternoon, Nevada City Manager Harlan Moore presents the key to a 2009 public transportation van to Don Meisenheimer of M Nod Taxi and Shuttle, the holder of the current public transportation contract for the city. The old van was paid for with 80 percent outside funds and 20 percent city funds. This new van has been 100 percent funded with money made available through the stimulus package by the Public Transportation Fund. --Rusty Murry/Daily Mail
