Radio Springs light display opens Wednesday

The opening ceremony that officially begins the season for the light display at Radio Springs Park, Nevada, will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 6 p.m., with the lighting of the Mayor's Christmas Tree.

The drive-through light display will open as Mayor Pro-Tem Jayne Novak presides over the 2009 lighting ceremony. The lighting ceremony is open to the public, and the park will be open each evening thereafter, through Dec. 31, at 5:30 p.m.

Special volunteers from local organizations will be working at the park, collecting donations each evening with one half of the proceeds the night they work going to their civic/non-profit organization.

Here is a list of the different organizations and the evenings they will be at the park.
