Freezin' for a Reason

Friday, December 18, 2009
Members of the Nevada High School student council organized and participated in "Freezing for a Reason" by standing at the north and south entrances to the school on Tuesday evening, Dec. 15 to collect coats for the Community Outreach. The group has collected nearly four dozen coats so far as part of their efforts to help that organization with its food drive and assistance to the community. "We're doing it for the kids in the community," said council vice president Clint Scotten. Pictured left to right: Josh Lowry, Allie Irwin, Mary Ann Kennon, Clint Scotten and Parker Richardson.
