Patty P. Greer, age 74 of Wyandotte, Okla., passed away Thursday Jan. 14, 2010, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo.

Patty was born on Feb. 17, 1935, in Irwin, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Cinnie (Wiseman) McNary. She has been a lifetime area resident, she worked as a cashier for Thriftway for several years as well as Motorola as an inspector before retiring in 1986. Patty was a member of Sycamore Methodist Church. She enjoyed many hobbies such as quilting and crocheting, gardening and yard work, caring for and spoiling her dogs, and was an avid fisherman.

She married Raymond Greer on Oct. 31, 1958, in Joplin, he survives. Additional survivors include one daughter, Sharon Gibbs, of Sapulpa, Okla.; two sons, Joseph Greer, of Belton, Texas, Don Greer and his wife Kristy, of Independence, Mo.; one brother, Charles McNary Jr., of Springfield, Mo.; two sisters, Jean Pettit, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Helen Iorg, of Forsythe, Mo., five grandchildren; Angie, Kevin, Amy, Krishonya and Kendra; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services have been scheduled for today at 10 a.m., at the Mason-Woodard Chapel, pastor John Bates, will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home on Monday, Jan. 18, from 6 to 7 p.m.
