Police Reports Jan. 25-26

Jan. 25

A theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 100 block of south Ash, made by Cheyenne Beasley, of Nevada. She reported a license plate stolen.

A burglary was reported in the 300 block of north Clay, made by Crystal Huegel, of Nevada. She reported a Playstation, DVD player, DVD's and currency stolen.

An accident occurred at 12:27 p.m., at City Hall's parking lot involving an SUV driven by Cheryl L. Short, of Nevada, and a pickup driven by Barbara K. Fettit, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

Jan. 26

An accident occurred at 4:42 p.m., at U.S. Highway 71 and Walnut, involving a car driven by Emily R. Masters, of Nevada, and a car driven by Marilyn L. Stockdale, of Sheldon. No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at 8:06 p.m., at 204 N. Pine's parking lot, involving an SUV driven by Valo L. Jones, of Nevada, and a parked truck owned by Lloyd E. Gibson, of Nevada. No injuries were reproted.

A petty theft was reported in the 700 block of north Clay, made by Almeta Vail, of Nevada. She reported a cellular phone stolen.

An accident occurred at 4 p.m., on Hickory and West, involving a pickup driven by Charles J. Steele, of El Dorado Springs, and a pickup driven by Brooklyn N. Swait, of Nevada. Swait was listed with probable but not apparent injuries.
