Delmar Clinton Hill Sr., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at his home in Nevada. He was born Sept. 14, 1943, in Nevada, to Elmer Daniel Hill Sr. and Elizabeth Loretta Hallam Hill. He married Peggy Ann Lowry on Aug. 11, 1988, in Keokuk, Iowa, and she survives of the home.

Delmar lived most of his life in Nevada and attended Nevada schools. He worked for the Rich Hill Police Department in the 1970s for a number of years. Delmar has worked the past 23 years as a nurse's aide for Arma Care Center, Arma, Kan.

In addition to his wife Peggy survivors include his children Marsha Urena, Sheldon, Mo., Clint Hill Jr., Webb City, Mo., Michelle Hutchison, Nevada, and Monica Dunfield, Nevada; 18 grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Harris, Osawatomie, Kan.; one stepson, James Lucas, Fort Scott; one brother, Standlee Hill, Milo, Mo.; one sister, Waneta Bigelow, Keokuck, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Joseph Hill Sr., Danny Hill Sr. and Terry Hill; and one sister, Betty Rackley.

Visition will be held from 7-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. No other services will be planned.
