Scratch Track band slated to perform at Cottey on Feb 27

The band Scratch Track will perform at Cottey College on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. inside Raney Dining Room.

Scratch Track is best described as an acoustic hip-hop soul band that was Tennessee-bred and is Kansas City-based. The group comprises vocalist/beatboxing DJ Lee and guitarist Jason Hamlin. This slick blend of beats and unplugged instrumentation has toured internationally and has had prominent opening slots for O.A.R., The Roots, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Los Lonely Boys, Erykah Badu, Jurassic 5, Living Colour, Rehab, and DJ Skribble (to name but a few).

Tickets for Scratch Track are $5 for adults and $4 for those under age 18 or over age 62.

Tickets will be available at the door the night of the show.

Raney Dining Room is in the lower level of Robertson Hall on the southeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada. Parking is available in the lot immediately south of Robertson which is accessible off of Tower Street.
