How many more snows this winter?

Dear Editor:

My father used to tell me when I was a child that whatever day the first snow fell that was deep enough to track a rabbit, we would get that many snows that winter.

That was a long time ago, as I am nearly 86 years old and that old saying seems pretty true this winter.

I've lost track, but I think it's getting close and more snow is in the forecast.

Will we get 24, or have we passed it.
