Congratulations Morgan, you stated your case well

Dear Editor,

I wish to congratulate Miss Morgan Haddix for a letter of hers printed in the April 3 issue of this paper. As a sophomore of NEVC high school, she wrote a most intelligent letter defending her school and seeking the support for Proposition S.

Good job, Morgan. Though I voted against Prop S, I want her to know and those supporters of NEVC school, that she has been taught well and has progressed under difficult building conditions which is a credit to the value of the teachers and students who must hunker down and press on.

As General Patton has said, "In a crisis, be seen going toward it, never away." So I congratulate those who are able to excel in an apparent crisis.
