James J. Stromberg - Heather R. Compton
Heather Renee Compton and James John Stromberg announce their plans to marry on Aug. 7, 2010, at 4 o'clock, in the East Chain Lutheran Church, East Chain, Minn.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Lee and Cindy Compton of Aberdeen, S.D. She is the granddaughter of Shirley Fields, of Mount Vernon, Mo., and the late Harry Fields, and Darlene Compton, of Nevada, and the late Lee Compton Sr.
Heather graduated from Fairmont High School in 2003 before she went to Minnesota State University, Mankato, to receive her bachelor's in elementary education. She works as a preschool teacher in Brookings, S.D.
Prospective-groom Stromberg is the son of Sheri Stromberg, of Fairmont, Minn. James also graduated from Fairmont High School in 2003 and is currently attending South Dakota State University. He will be graduating this spring with a bachelor's in agronomy. Upon graduation, James will begin his career at WFS in Fairmont, Minn.
