Darren R. Chapman - Ashton L. Schulze

Brent Haile, of Blairstown, Mo., and Susan Versilus, of Neosho, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashton Lauren Schulze, to Darren Ray Chapman, son of Keith and Susan Chapman, of Carthage, Mo.

Ashton is the granddaughter of David and Connie Couch of Bronaugh, Mo. Darren is the grandson of Robert Richardson.

The bride-elect graduated from Neosho High School in 2007. She is currently majoring in psychology and minoring in Spanish at Missouri Southern State University, from which she plans to graduate in December 2010.

The prospective groom, a 2006 graduate of Carthage High School, is a current graduate of MSSU, with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology.

The couple plan to be married on Aug. 21, 2010.
