James Robert "Bob" Mann

James Robert "Bob" Mann, 71, of Wichita, retired purchasing manager/ employee of Airtechnics, Inc. for 40 years, died at home on Monday, July 12, 2010 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service is pending. Bob was born on June 15, 1939 in Fort Scott, Kan. He served aboard the USS Boxer as a BT3.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Harvey, mother, Marie (Fitzmorris), and granddaughter, Nicole Elizabeth Pomeroy.

He is survived by a brother, Harvelee of Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Joella Marshall of San Clemente, Calif.; three nieces; one nephew; wife, Carolyn (Metcalf) of Wichita; sons, Tim (Deanna) and their children, Nicholas and Cameron of Garden City, Kan., Jim (Kim) and their children, Keaton, Daly and Karlyn of Palm Bay, Fla., and Michael of Wichita; daughters, Becky Collins (Randy) and their children, Travis, Stephanie and Elijah Glasper of Wichita, and Melissa Pomeroy (Todd) and their children, Jessica Hoopes (Eldon), David, and Ann of Newton, Kan.
