August 26
Sharon Turner reported a second degree burglary and unlawful entry in the 200 block of North Main Street. Item stolen was cash.
August 27
Richard Bozworth reported a theft from a motor vehicle in the 700 block of Main Street. Items stolen were: Jimenez .380 pistol with holster.
Michael Rodarmel reported a petty theft in the 600 block of North Subway Boulevard. Item stolen was a Snapper lawn mower.
August 28
David Groves reported a theft in the 700 block of Washington Street. Items stolen were: two tool boxes with miscellaneous tools and five 5 gallon gas cans.
September 1
6:59 a.m.: An accident occurred at Business 71 and Barrett Street involving a car driven by Christina M. Rockhold, Uniontown, Kan., and a car driven by Kristina L. Weisensee, Walker. No injuries were reported.
11:40 p.m.: An accident occurred at Chestnut and Cherry streets when a motorcycle driven by Michael A. Ponzini, Nevada, lost control on an uneven surface of the roadway causing the motorcycle to fall over. Ponzini received evident, but not disabling injuries.
September 3
3 p.m.: An accident occurred at Business 71 and Walnut Street involving a pickup driven by Gerald R.J. Wilson, Nevada, and a van driven by Edith M. Troyer, Jerico Springs, Mo. No injuries were reported.
5 p.m.: An accident occurred at Nevada Fuel Mart when a freightliner driven by Scott E. Yardt, Muscatine, Iowa, backed into a light pole. No injuries were reported.
September 4
8:19 a.m.: A one vehicle accident occurred at Cedar and Walnut streets when a pickup driven by Jackie K. Hoffman, Nevada, struck a road sign. No injuries were reported.
