Kansas City/St Joseph Catholic School board meets in Nevada

On Oct 12, St Mary's school was host to the meeting of the diocese school board. Board members toured the facility and were shown the various classrooms and computer lab. Dr. Dan Peters, superintendent, along with the assistant superintendents Vince Schmidt and Patricia Burbach, joined the other board members. Nevada resident Diane Krall is a member of the Diocese school board. The diocese wide school board met in Nevada to visit one of the outlying schools. Kansas City-St Joseph Catholic diocese has 44 locations for education including early childhood, elementary and high school settings. Six of the schools are in rural areas with the closest being Montrose, Clinton and Warrensburg. Catholic schools commit to reaching the whole child spiritually, intellectually and socially.
