Stringfever to perform on Feb. 4
Giles, Ralph, Graham and Neal Broadbent, also known as Stringfever, will perform at Cottey College on Friday, Feb. 4, at 8 p.m., in the Auditorium of the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts.
According to information from Cottey College these four world-class musicians play electric violins, viola, and cello with a little bit of beat-boxing thrown in for a truly original show. They're a little bit classical; they're a little bit rock n' roll. They're also humorous, a little bit manic, and a whole lot entertaining. Their finale is astounding.
Tickets for Stringfever are $8 for adults and $6 for those under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets will be available at the door the evening of the performance or call the Cottey Ticket Office at (417) 667-8181, ext. 2186 to reserve a ticket in advance.
The Center for the Arts is on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada.
Financial assistance for Stringfever has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
