Wade Henry to headline Fort Scott festival

Fort Scott is preparing for its 30th annual Good Ol' Days celebration to be held on June 4th and 5th this year. The exciting news for this year's celebration is that the "big event" will be the Wade Henry Show. Building on the popularity of the Dock Dogs in 2008, the Clydesdale Horses in 2009, and the Lumberjack Show in 2010, the Good Ol' Days is bringing the Wade Henry Show to the plaza area in front of the Fort for all day on Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and 5.

He will perform four shows on June 4 and two shows on Sunday, June 5 and will also be in the Good Ol' Days parade on Friday, June 3rd.

Wade Henry was born in Manitoba, Canad,a and it was there that he started training for his profession as a performing artist. He is an accomplished juggler, unicyclist, ropewalker, fire eater, equilibrist, magician, speaker and comic.

Wade has performed as a world-class street performer, delivering his shows on the streets, town squares and harbor-front areas of various Australian and Canadian cities. His travels as a performer are partially documented in his popular adventure novel "The Greatest Finale."

Wade and his wife Helen have six children. The Henry Family has been living in Clearwater, Florida since 1997.

Wade and Helen continue to operate "Ability Entertainment," the company that serves to book shows for Wade's act, as well as several other entertainers.

Throughout the past 12 years, the "Wade Henry Show" has become phenomenally popular with Fairs, Festivals and Rodeos. Wade has performed more than 6,000 shows and continues his prolific outflow of entertainment today.
