Lynnelle M. Freer, 69, of Fort Scott, Kan., died Monday morning, March 25, 2011, at St. Luke's in Kansas City, Mo. She was born Nov. 28, 1941, in Normangee, Texas, the daughter of Leo T. and Lee Ola (Sorrells Buras) Martin. She married David Freer July 10, 1960, in Piedras Negras, Mexico. He survives of the home.

In addition to her husband, David, Lynnelle is survived by her children, Stephani Beckett and Steve of Appleton City, Mo., Cheryl Link of Raymore, Mo., and Leslie Burdine and Kerry of Harrisonville, Mo.; two brothers, Tom Martin and Lynne of Troy, Idaho, and Larry Martin and Kialia, of Moscow, Idaho; a sister, Evelyn Cole and Dutch of Aransas Pass, Texas; four grandchildren, Ashley Klier, Thomas, Robert and Ethan Link; three great-grandchildren, Owen and Bex Klier, and Logan Link; and an aunt, Charity Scarborough. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall St., Fort Scott, with burial following at the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
