JV Joplin track meet results

Two members of Nevada's junior varsity track team won place first in their events Tuesday at a junior varsity meet in Joplin.

Nevada's Nikiya Feezell cleared 4-10 to win the high jump and Anthony Mauder threw the shot 40-4 to win that event. Feezell also placed fourth in the pole vault, with a vault of 6.

Girls results

Shot put -- 3, Bailey Jones, 25-4.

Discus -- 3, Jones, 71-8.

High jump -- 1, Feezell, 4-10.

Pole vault -- 4, Feezel, 6-0.

4X100 relay -- 5, Taylor Gundy, Haley Edwards, Feezell, Brooklyn Ryan, 61.0.

4X200 relay -- 5, Gundy, Edwards, Feezell Ryan, 2:08.

Boys results

Shot put -- 1, Anthony Mauder, 40-4. 5, Brent Baugh, 36-2.

Pole vault -- 2, Morgan Hold, 11-0.

The varsity track team's next outing will be Friday at Ray-Pec, and the JV will run in the Nevada JV Track meet next Tuesday.
