Prairie Pride merger will mean more dollars for school district

Dr. David Stephens, Nevada R-5 superintendent, told the R-5 Board of Education during their monthly meeting Wednesday night that the district has set July 9-17 as Nevada's summer dead period as required by MSHSAA by-laws; so Nevada R-5 parents will not have to search for a week this summer without some kind of Missouri State High School Activities Association sanctioned activity.
