Close to 300 people turned out at the Osage Prairie YMCA for Friday afternoon's LOL Mud Volleyball Tournament. Play began at 1 p.m. and ended at 5:30 p.m. A total of 15 teams participated with 82 students in grades 9-12 from Nevada and Sheldon participating. The fourth place team was 4 Girls, 2 Guys -- Ethan Dade, Jake Brasfield, Josie Loyd, Kylie Guest, Lexi Rawlings and Jessica Rawlings; third place went to the Tea Time team of Olivia Culbertson, Taylor Shepherd, Kyle Bennett, Silas Smith, Cassidy Lowery and Brooke Munsterman; second place went to the Mud Slingers -- Kelci Cliffman, Allie Irwin, Michelle Westerhold, Klay Beisley, Kyler Cliffman and Bubba Banes; and first place and the title of Champions went to the River Bottom Boys and One Girl -- Austin Denning, Trevor Hunholz, Trent Yarsulik, Trey Manes and Erica Wagenknecht.

T-shirts for the winners will be provided by Dr. Jason Meisenheimer of Nevada Chiropractic and Boo-Boo's Shirt Shack, along with pizzas from Pizza Hut.

A total of $410 was raised for LOL at this event with the $5 entry fee from each participant.
