July 6

Huleigh Wilson, Nevada, reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 2100 block of East Austin Boulevard. Item stolen was a 2004 Ford front bumper.

11:31 a.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 71 Highway and Highland Street involving a car driven by Fredrick W. Njoroge, Oronogo, Mo., and an unknown vehicle. Minor injuries. Accident is still under investigation.

12:53 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Subway Boulevard involving a car driven by Amber P. Eckerle, Nevada, and a pickup driven by Oscar L. Bronson III, Lamar, Mo. No injuries were reported.

July 9

Amiee Hartline, Nevada, reported a first degree burglary in the 700 block of East Minnesota Street. Items stolen were: A 2 1/2 gallon gas can and a tool box with miscellaneous tools.

July 10

Lisa Robinson, Nevada, reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 2100 block of North Ash Street. Items stolen were an MP3 adapter and miscellaneous change.

5:05 a.m.: A one-vehicle accident occurred at U.S. 71 and U.S. 54 highways when a tire blew out on a pickup driven by Travis S. Meyerholtz, Franklin, La. No injuries were reported.

July 11

Shae Malcom, Nevada, reported a second degree burglary in the 100 block of East Cherry Street. Items stolen were: An LG 42-inch television and an LG 50-inch television.

July 12

Kerbee Tyler, Nevada, reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 1200 block of North Colorado Street. Items stolen were five CD cases.

Regena Blevins, Nevada, reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 1000 block of East Locust Street. Items stolen were four necklaces.

10:30 a.m.: An accident occurred at 104 S. Oak Street involving a car driven by Edna M. Kunkel, Nevada, and a pickup owned by Barry G. Clark, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

July 13

Warren Reiter, Nevada, reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 300 block of South Clay Street. Items stolen were miscellaneous.

4:22 p.m.: An accident occurred at Route K and U.S. 71 Highway involving a van driven by Lenina M. Wyrick, Nevada, and a car driven by Ginger R. Hugg, El Dorado Springs, Mo. No injuries were reported.

July 15

Bobby Pullman, Nevada, reported a petty theft on East Central Street. Items stolen were: A grey Magna Girls Bicycle and a pink and white girls bicycle.

July 16

Christopher Herren-Lewis, Nevada, reported a second degree burglary in the 600 block of East Atlantic Street. Items stolen were: An X-Box 360 game console with controller, two X-Box games, and one DVD.

July 17

1:15 a.m.: An accident occurred at 2424 E. Austin Blvd. involving a pickup driven by Tressa M. Fryar, El Dorado Springs, Mo., and an SUV owned by Roy Canaday, Pleasanton, Kan. No injuries were reported.

5:52 p.m.: An accident occurred at Elm and Ashland streets involving a car driven by Michael R. Boyd, Nevada, and a motorcycle driven by Sharon L. Crews, Nevada. Crews received minor injuries.

July 18

2:45 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Perkins Street involving a pickup driven by John W. Smith, Nevada, and an SUV driven by Heather L. Graham, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

July 19

Christian Lewis, Nevada, reported a theft in the 200 block of West Park Avenue. Items stolen were: A Dell computer with flat screen monitor and a DVD player.
