Nevada R-5 schools to host open house events

Several back-to-school events are taking place next week in Nevada R-5 schools, according to a press release from the district.

The first day of school for most students in the district is Aug 18.

The first day of school for students in the Cedar Ridge preschool is Aug.19.

Monday, Aug. 15

Nevada Middle School open house, 4:30-6 p.m.

Nevada Middle School orientation for all students new to building, 4:30-5 p.m.

Truman elementary school back-to-school open house, 4-5:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug.16

Bryan elementary school back-to-school night, 4-5:30 p.m.

Benton elementary school open house, 4:30-6 p.m.

Nevada High School open house, 6-7 p.m.

Nevada Regional Technical Center open house, at NRTC and the Bowman building, 6-7 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 17

Mrs. Parrack's preschool information night for parents, Cedar Ridge, 5:30 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 18

ECE and ECSE open house, Cedar Ridge, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
