Sept. 7

10:14 a.m.: An accident occurred at 500 S. College St. involving an unknown vehicle and a car driven by Patty L. Culbertson, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

Sept. 9

9:01 a.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 and Business 71 highways involving a pickup driven by Nathan D. Forkner, Richards, Mo., and a car driven by Whitney L. Smith, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

5:20 p.m.: An accident occurred at Route BB, north of Deer Run Drive involving a van driven by Jennifer D. Lile, Nevada, and an SUV driven by William L. Foster, Nevada. Four juveniles in the Lile vehicle reported minor injuries.

4:39 p.m.: An accident occurred at Route BB and Sycamore Street involving a car driven by Dustin T. Meyer, Fort Scott, Kan., and a motorcycle driven by John R. Flynn, Nevada. Flynn reported minor injuries.

Sept. 11

6:57 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 and Business 71 highways involving a van driven by Charles D. Dahmer, Nevada, and a car driven by John D. Friar, El Dorado Springs, Mo. No injuries were reported.

Tina Silver, Nevada, reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 600 block of West Cherry Street. Items stolen were: CD's with CD case and one pair of sunglasses.

Kathy Adams, Nevada, reported a petty theft in the 600 block of West Allison Street. Items stolen were: Two 3-foot angel pedestal lights, two pedestal ball lights with a metal arrow halo, a two-bulb yard light, and a 10-inch purple gazing ball with stand.

Sept. 13

2:18 p.m.: An accident occurred at 815 S. Ash St. involving a car driven by Shaun P. Williams, Nevada, and a car owned by Michael J. Smith, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

Sept. 14

8:35 a.m.: An accident occurred at Route W and Cherry Street involving an SUV driven by James K. Good, Olathe, Kan., and a car driven by Kaylene M. Ledom, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

12:37 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Webster Street involving a van driven by Whitney E. Collins, Nevada, and a semi truck driven by Alfred D. Snowden, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

4:16 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Adams Street involving a car driven by Frank J. Wadle, Nevada, and a car driven by Lila C. Meisenheimer, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

Sept. 15

Leroy Denning, Nevada, reported a petty theft in the 1500 block of West Walnut Street. Items stolen were two yard ornaments.

Sonja Holsti-Wells, Nevada, reported a theft of controlled substances in the 900 block of West Hunter Street. Item stolen was medication.
