Roberta Irene Drury, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother successfully completed her life and work among us here on earth. She has gone to join her Savior Jesus Christ, her loving husband, and the many precious family members and friends who passed out of this life before her. Roberta was born April 28, 1921, in Milton, Iowa, to Victor Vinson Huff and Ruby Irene Jennings Huff. She was the wife of Maurice Carl Drury for 50 years until his death on Oct. 13, 1989. They were married on June 23, 1939, in Kirksville, Mo. They are the parents of four daughters, Barbara Ann Conwell, Nevada, Mo., Sarah Brock and her husband, Jack, Deerfield, Mo., Mary Ellen Luchetti and her husband, Les, Santa Fe, N.M., and Letha Weathers and her husband, Doug, Nashville, Tenn.

Also surviving are 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Lucille Drury, Kirksville, Mo.; and her beloved dog "Dolly." In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.

Roberta grew up in Yarrow, Mo., in northern Missouri and came to Vernon County 70 years ago. She was a 60 year member of Clayton Christian Church of Eve, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, with Robert Fox officiating. Interment will follow in Deerfield Cemetery, Deerfield, Mo. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
