Cynthia A. "Cindy" Worsley

Cynthia A. "Cindy" Worsley, 59, Bronaugh, Mo., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., as the result of an aneurysm. She was born June 6, 1952, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Paul O. Hirschman and Anna Mae Grieshaber Hirschman. She married Dennis Worsley on Nov. 27, 1971, in Nevada, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 2012.

Cindy grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 1971. She worked for Citizens State Bank in Nevada for six years and at the Bronaugh schools as a bookkeeper for 12 years. She last worked for Murphy Family Ventures from 1992 until the present. She was a black powder enthusiast and an avid quilter. Cindy loved being with her grandchildren and walking in the woods with them.

Survivors include two children, Tobi Utz and her husband, Chris, Albert Lea, Minn., and Cody Worsley and his wife, Whitney, Bronaugh, Mo.; four grandchildren, Erin Utz, Ryan Utz, Wyatt Worsley, and Cole Worsley; her parents, Paul and Ann Hirschman, Nevada; five siblings and their families, Randy Hirschman, Imperial, Mo., Brenda Hirschman, Nevada, Tom Hirschman, Nevada, Kay Stevens, Edmond, Okla., and Lana Hillier, Lee's Summit, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Roger Beach and Father Tom Albers officiating. Interment will follow in Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Ferry Funeral Home.
