Mary Julia Price, 71, Sheldon, Mo., died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, in Bronaugh, Mo., following a lengthy illness. She was born May 13, 1940, in Stotesbury, Mo., to Edward James Ware and Effie Irene Hankins Ware.

Ms. Price was born and reared in this area and spent most all of her life here, and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School. She worked in a variety of jobs including shoe manufacturing and for Nellie Don Textiles. She also worked for 10 years for the Sears Co.

Survivors include one daughter, Deanna Vance, Bronaugh, Mo.; three grandchildren, Claude Allen Vance and his wife, Ashley, Lawrence, Kan., Robert Dwight Vance and his wife, Jamie, Bronaugh, Mo., and Kayla Lea Vance, Nevada, Mo.; two great-grandsons, Trevor Allen Vance and Conner Dale Vance, both of Lawrence, Kan.; two brothers, William Ware, Oak Grove, Mo., and Layton Ware, Deming, N.M.; one sister, Wilma Williams, Sweet Springs, Mo.; and her companion of 21 years, Donald J. Reynolds, Sheldon, Mo.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 25, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, with the Rev. Terry Mosher officiating.
