Two hurt in Tuesday evening crash

Two residents of El Dorado Springs, Mo., were injured in a single-car accident that occurred about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, according to a report from Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper Travis Polodna.

The accident happened on U.S. 54 Highway about three miles west of El Dorado Springs when the eastbound 2000 Ford Explorer driven by Raynea R. Koca, 27 of El Dorado Springs, slid off the left side of the roadway and overturned. Koca and a passenger, Cora E. Womack, 11, also of El Dorado Springs, suffered minor injuries in the wreck and both were transported to the Nevada Regional Medical Center.

Womack was not wearing a safety device and it is unknown whether Koca used a seatbelt or not. The vehicle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Steward
