SENECA, Mo. -- Host Seneca scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning to knock off Nevada 4-3 in high school baseball action on Friday in a contest that started on April 13.

That date was suspended due to rain and was picked up on Friday with the Tigers up 3-2 in the fifth inning.

But Nevada did not manage a hit in three innings on Friday against the Indians.

Marty Atnip's Tigers fell to 14-6 on the season with the loss.

For the Tigers, one more win would tie the school record for wins in a season. They'll have three chances early this week.

Nevada will head to Harrisonville on Monday and will then play a doubleheader against at McDonald County on Tuesday.
