Melissa Kate Werner

Thomas and Sara Werner are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, Melissa Kate Werner.

Melissa was born at 9:45 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Northside Hospital, Atlanta, Ga. She weighed 7 pounds and measured 20 and 1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Dr. Brad and Lori Copeland of Nevada, Mo. Maternal great-grandparents are Ron and Judy Dahmer of Nevada, Mo., and Barbara Copeland of Nevada, Mo.

Paternal grandparents are Troy and Tina Werner of Nevada. Paternal great-grandparents are Ron Werner of Halstead, Kan., and Howard and Kay McCain of Burton, Kan.
