Police Reports June 14-June 19

June 14

There was a report of a burglary in the 300 block of North Main Street. A filing cabinet was pried open. Nothing was reported stolen at this time. It is unsure how entrance was made.

There was a report of a petty theft in the 400 block of West Atlantic Boulevard. A purple spray painted bicycle was stolen.

12:09 p.m.: An accident occurred at Hickory and College streets involving an SUV driven by Kellie D. McClure, Nevada, and a pickup driven by Samantha K. Reasoner, El Dorado Springs, Mo. No injuries were reported.

4:20 p.m.: An accident occurred at Washington and Hickory streets involving a pickup driven by Sherrie L. Fox, Nevada, and a pickup owned by Mickie J. Cook, Amoret, Mo. No injuries were reported.

June 15

7:30 a.m.: An accident occurred at 1811 N. Ash St. involving an unknown vehicle and an SUV owned by Carolyn S. Rookstool, Nevada. Accident is still under investigation.

June 16

There was a report of a theft in the 400 block of West Atlantic Boulevard. A cd case with 35 miscellaneous cd's and a carton of cigarettes were stolen from a 2007 Jeep Wrangler.

There was a report of private property damage at the country club. A hasp was missing on a golf cart shed. Nothing was reported stolen at this time.

June 17

There was a report of private property damage in the 800 block of North Adams Street. Unknown individuals knocked over mail boxes and a trash cart.

June 18

There was a report of property damage in the 100 block of North Cedar Street. The glass door on the front of the building was broken. Entrance was not gained into the building.

7:04 p.m.: An accident occurred at Atlantic Boulevard and Adams Street involving a car driven by Barbara A. Conwell, Nevada, and an SUV driven by Josh A. Cussimanio, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

June 19

2:06 p.m.: A one-vehicle accident occurred at U.S 54 Highway and Route W when a moped driven by Derick D. Masters, Nevada, slowed down for traffic. Masters applied the front brakes only, causing him to be thrown over the front of the vehicle. Masters reported minor injuries.
