Joseph Ferry receives Jack Swearingen Golf Scholarship

David Swearingen of the 1st National Bank of Nevada presents Joseph Ferry with the Jack Swearingen Golf Scholarship and a check for $1,000 in the bank's conference room on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Ferry, who graduated from Nevada High School this spring was chosen to play for the Joplin Junior Horton Smith golf team on Thursday, July 26, at the Briarbrook Country Club in Joplin. Ferry placed 15th in his fourth Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 3 state golf championship in May.
