Bonnie L. McDaniel, 79, rural Vernon County, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at her home. She was born June 17, 1933, in Walker, Mo., to Howard Hacker and Angie M. Palmer Hacker. She and Delmar Culbertson were married in 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1990. She and Clifford A. McDaniel were later married in 1996 and he survives of the home.

Bonnie grew up in Walker and graduated from Walker High School in 1951. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a lifelong member of the Westminster Community Club, worked for Nevada R-5 schools for 33 years and was a farm wife most of her life. She and Cliff enjoyed traveling to national bowling tournaments. She enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, playing cards and bingo and being with her family at family dinners.

Survivors include her husband, Cliff; two sons, Rodger Culbertson, rural Vernon County and Rick Culbertson and his wife, Diane, rural Vernon County; one stepson, Mike McDaniel, Buffalo, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bob Hacker and his wife, Carol, Nevada, Mo., Bill Hacker and his wife Marge, El Dorado Springs, Mo., and Dick Hacker and his wife, Sandy, Nevada; numerous nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Sharon Hacker, Nevada, and Rita Hacker, Butler. She was preceded in death by one son, Ron, in 2006; one granddaughter, Nicki, in 2003; two brothers, Tom Hacker and Jim Hacker; and one sister, Sue McDaniel.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the First Baptist Church, Nevada, with Dr. William Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Walker, Mo. Friends may call now and until 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.

Contributions may be made in her memory to the Mt. Vernon Cemetery Association in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
