Police Reports Sept. 21-Sept. 24

September 21

12:23 p.m.: An accident occurred at Route W and U.S. 54 Highway involving an SUV driven by Joyce E. Post, Nevada, and a pickup driven by Henry R. Webb, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

3:08 p.m.: An accident occurred at Elm and Floral streets involving an unknown vehicle and a car owned by Arthur A. Bell, Nevada. Accident is still under investigation.

6:23 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway involving a pickup driven by Ronald E. Cartwright, El Dorado Springs, Mo., and a pickup driven by Richard M. Bryant of Fort Scott, Kan. No injuries were reported.

There was a report of a theft in the 1100 block of South Clay Street. The driver's side mirror was stolen from a 2002 Ford F-250 while parked in the driveway.

There was a report of a theft in the 900 block of South Clay Street. A Stanley black and grey tool box with miscellaneous tools was reported stolen from the bed of a pickup.

September 22

12:27 p.m.: An accident occurred at 2250 E. Lincoln Ave. involving a car driven by Harlie L. Kirkendoll, Nevada, and a car driven by Amanda M. Fisher, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

1:52 p.m.: An accident occurred at Hickory and Colorado streets involving a pickup driven by David B. Ayers, Fort Scott, Kan., and a van driven by Jack W. Hartline, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

September 23

There was a report of a theft in the 300 block of East Walnut Street. A cell phone was reported stolen from the residence. A subject is being sought.

September 24

11:10 a.m.: An accident occurred at Hickory and Main streets involving a car driven by Cassie J. Brown, Nevada, and a van driven by Michael W. Houts, El Dorado Springs. No injuries were reported.
