October 24

There was a report of property damage in the 1400 block of North Osage Boulevard. A lock on a cattle trailer was damaged. Entrance was not gained.

October 25

There was a report of a theft in the 1600 block of North Osage Boulevard. Copper tubing was reported stolen from an outside air conditioning unit.

There was a report of a theft in the 800 block of North Commercial Street. A one-gallon gas can and a frog ornament were reported stolen from the back yard.

8:22 a.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Route W involving a car driven by Maxine Urena, Nevada, and a car driven by Deborah J. Short, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

October 26

There was a report of a petty theft in the 800 block of East Ashland Street. A woman's gray and pink bicycle was reported stolen. The bicycle was in the front yard.

October 27

There was a report of a petty theft in the 400 block of East Hickory Street. A boy's Next 20-inch green and silver bicycle was reported stolen. The bicycle was chained to the fence in the back yard.

There was a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of East Locust Street. Numerous tools were reported stolen from a business. Entrance was gained after a hole was cut into the garage door.

October 28

7:58 p.m.: An accident occurred at 500 E. Cherry St. involving an unknown vehicle and a pickup owned by Cindy L. Sandoval, Milo, Mo. Accident is still under investigation.

October 29

2:23 p.m.: An accident occurred at Maine and Hickory streets involving a pickup driven by Mathew H. Dewitte, Nevada, and a truck owned by David A. May, Nevada. No injuries were reported.
