WEBB CITY, Mo. -- The Nevada Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade girls' basketball teams headed back out on the road for the second time this season to take on Webb City Middle School Tuesday and came back with mixed results.

The eighth grade A squad was the only Nevada team to come out of the night with a victory, knocking off Webb City by a final score of 37-19. Webb City had no trouble salvaging a split on the night, however, as the B team took a dominant victory over Nevada by a final score of 40-12.

The seventh grade games didn't go as well for Nevada as Webb City posted a 41-13 victory in the A game and completed the two-game sweep with a 33-16 win in the B contest.

Next on the schedule for Nevada is tonight when both the seventh- and eighth-grade squads return home to host McDonald County Middle School. Tipoff for the first of those contests is set for 5:30 p.m.
