Clarence "Mike" Dozier

Clarence "Mike" Dozier, 79, Nevada, passed away at his home on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012. He was born Nov. 16, 1933, in Iola, Kan., to Clarence Victor Dozier and Lila Fern Olsen Dozier. He married Elizabeth Rose Chilton on Jan. 21, 1969, in York, Neb., and she survives of the home.

Mike was raised in Iola, Kan. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952 in Korea during the Korean Conflict. Mike worked nearly all his life as a truck driver. He had lived in Nevada for the past 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Rose, of the home; three sons, Michael Dozier and his wife, Pam, Genoa, Neb., and Richard Dozier and his wife, Andrea, Schyler, Neb., and Lee Dozier, Sheldon, Mo.; four daughters, Tonya Rusk, Jefferson City, Mo., Barbara Hargo, Cheyenne, Wyo., Cheryl Fisher, and Jody Dozier, both of Lincoln, Neb.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Irene Cox, Wichita, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 30, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
